Start with one theme
Small daycares do not need a new idea every hour. A strong weekly theme gives children repeated language, predictable routines, and enough variety for books, songs, sensory play, and art.
Choose a theme that is easy to see in the classroom: weather, animals, transportation, bodies, food, families, plants, or community helpers. Then repeat the same English and Spanish words in different parts of the day.
Plan in blocks
A simple plan can cover circle time, table work, movement, meals, outdoor play, and pickup. The goal is not to fill every minute. The goal is to make the day easier to teach and easier for parents to understand.
Print the pieces you need before Monday, keep the PDFs in one folder, and mark which activities need supplies. That is the planning habit Nido8 is built around.
